Senator Lindsey Graham, the Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman announced on Sunday that he will allow request to call Robert Mueller, former Special Counsel to testify about the Russian probe. He made the statement one day after Mueller published an op-ed in the Washington Post in which he defended the conviction and prosecution of Roger Stone after Donald Trump, the President of the United States commuted the sentence of Stone.

The case of Stone long drawn out the investigation of Mueller. Graham states that Mueller is apparently willing and capable of defending the investigation of Mueller via an op-ed in the Washington Post. Previously, Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee requested Mueller to appear before the Judiciary Committee of Senate to testify about his probe. While Facebook, the social media giant removed the accounts and pages associated with Roger Stone.

Opposite the editorial page of Mueller defended both the decision to prosecute Roger Stone and the overarching Russian probe that president and the Republicans repeatedly condemned. Mueller further said that he felt bound to respond both to wide claims that their probe was unlawful and their motives were improper.

Russia Investigation was of paramount importance

On Saturday, Trump tweeted that Stone was a victim of an illegitimate Witch Hunt that should never have to take place. Moreover, he adds that the Russian Investigation was of supreme importance. The president went on to indirectly address the allegations of Republicans – led by crooked actors the United States Department of Justice (DOJ). Whereas, the men and women who led these prosecutions and investigations acted with the highest integrity. Conflicting claims are false.

Possibly op-ed of Saturday represents that the courageous statement from Mueller, who previously criticized for offering what considered a warmish testimony to House investigators previous year. Similarly, James Comey, the former Director of Federal Bureau of Investigation defended the investigation in May and mocked the accusations that the DOJ engaged in a deep state conspiracy against the president.

Furthermore, the White House responded to the op-ed of Mueller on Sunday, referring to own report of Mueller. Which noted a deficiency of evidence that the 2016 election campaign of Donald Trump illegitimately colluded with Russia.

Judd Deere, the Deputy White House Press Secretary stated that Robert Mueller along with his corrupt investigation unable to hold anyone in the Administration of Obama-Biden responsible for their carelessness toward Russian interference or for espionage on the Trump Campaign.

Mueller should keep his promise to the United States nation and let the report, which completely exonerated Trump, stand instead of go on in the editorial pages with more spin.
