Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, founded the law firm, Delaware received a loan from Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) for between $150,000 and $350,000, according to the statistics of Small Business Administration and the Treasury Department. The Trump campaign said that the records conflict with the recent conversation from the Joe Biden campaign that the PPP program is unproductive and a road to reward Trump allies.

Tim Murtaugh, the campaign director of communication of Trump, said that instead of criticizing Trump as an involuntary reaction, Joe Biden should be thankful to Trump once in a while. The PPP saved around fifty-one million jobs countrywide, including at the old law firm of Biden and several firms associated with Obama administration alums.
Biden and Walsh mutually founded firm Delaware and now known as Monzack Mersky McLaughlin and Browder. At present, Biden has no financial interest in the firm. Whereas, Melvyn Monzack, the co-founder and partner of the firm, maintained close bonds to the former vice president. Monzack served as the 2002 Senate reelection treasurer of Biden, besides the treasurer for the 2009 presidential run of Biden.
Biden gave Monzack his legal power of attorney
According to CBS News, Monzack attended a national dinner at the White House for Hu Jintao, the President of China in 2011. Delaware is also a legal agent for firms tied to Biden. The records reviewed by Fox News show that on 6th July 1987, Biden gave Monzack his legal power of attorney to demand amounts of money, sue for and receive whole debts, securities for money, chattels, goods, or other personal property.
The previous week, the Biden campaign released a video in which a small business owner saying that the administration of Trump done nothing to help save her business. However, this advertisement didn’t reveal that the owner of the business received thousands of dollars in the federal relief fund. Biden and his political partners also took responsibility for their attacks on what they call Trump’s cronyism in distributing the stimulus fund.
In the meantime, the team of Nancy Pelosi, the House Speaker, is rejecting reports that her husband’s linked business received any handsome amount of money under the emergency COVID-19 relief program of the government – arguing that his association to the firm is minimal.
The firm, EDI Associates in San Rafael, California, has fifty-two employees and says it is in the full-service restaurant business, according to the documents of the government. From the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) money, the firm received between $350,000 and one million dollars.
